Detailed design for Hydropower development in some smaller catchments in Albania: Devolli upper scheme with 5 small HPP, Strelca river catchment with two small HPPs, Dunica catchment scheme with 4 small HPP, Dragostun river scheme with 4 small HPP, Zalli i Xhuxhes and Shengjini schemes with 6 small HPP, Germani river scheme with 2 small HPPs, etc. All HPPs are based on runoff river flows without flow regulation. The main structures under these HPP projects consist on: Intake dam crossing the river sedimentation tanks, pressure basins, headrace pipe (penstock), power house and turbines installed with transmission headlines to the substations.
