Keep the assessment connected to the design

Environmental and social assessment needs a clear description of the proposed works, their location and the alternatives being considered. As a design changes, the related assessment and application information need to remain coordinated with it.

EBS's documented roles include ESIA on the Himarë–Orikum rural water programme and on energy developments, alongside licensing or permitting documentation on relevant hydropower and PV assignments. Project records identify the role and any consortium context; they do not imply that EBS grants approvals.

Identify the required process first

Send the proposed development, site boundary, design stage and any authority or lender requirements already received. The assessment scope and application documents must be agreed for the specific project. Approval decisions remain with the responsible institutions.
